CERG 2.0 endorses Rose Krasnow
The Coalition for Equitable Representation in Government 2.0 (CERG 2.0) released their endorsements, and I'm humbled to say that I was selected as their choice to be the next Montgomery County Executive.
Their endorsement letter expanded with the statement, “CERG 2.0 believes that, as our next County Executive, you will deliver on your expressed commitments to inclusive participation and responsible government to all citizens of Montgomery County, Maryland; regardless of race, color, creed, gender or sexual orientation."
The endorsement expressed confidence that, when elected as County Executive, I will "be accessible, open to new ideas and committed to securing significant improvements for African Americans and other underrepresented citizens of Montgomery County in the areas of Economic Development, Education, Criminal Justice Reform and Health Care."
I am very honored to receive this endorsement. Throughout the campaign, I have made it clear that I want everyone in our county to be heard, and that my appointees and staff should reflect the diversity of the county in which we live. I look forward to working with CERG 2.0 to bring this about.
Warmest personal regards,
