Halfway through her unique series of conversations with the community, Rose is hearing lots of no-nonsense, unfiltered ideas and comments from residents: revitalization and gentrification in Wheaton. Resources for schools. The deer population. Rising taxes. Amazon. Prospects for young adults starting their careers. Growing and attracting business. 

These and many other questions (relieving congestion, housing prices, etc.), are being raised as residents are drawn to Rose in these up-close and personal conversations. “I want your voice to be heard,” says Rose. “I’m not running to move up the political leader, I’m running to get things done.

Rose has met with folks from Olney, Sandy Spring, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac, Kensington, Germantown, Silver Spring, and White Oak. But there are still opportunities for you to meet Rose and pose your questions. Here's our schedule for the remaining Community Conversations events:

  • Jun 2 – Montgomery Village, 10-11:30am, Lake Marion Community Center
